Supplier Framework Skills Groups

This page tells you which suppliers are on our framework and what services they offer. Suppliers are grouped into six skills groups so that you can find the right suppliers for your project.

When you want to put out a brief, you can send it to any suppliers in the relevant skills group.

Note: Please retain all of your records for audit purposes.

Guidance on sending a brief to the skills groups

If you work in The Communications and Engagement Team or Facilities Directorate, please view the TEAM-Communications SharePoint site for threshold information.

There are three ways to use the skills groups, depending on how complex your brief is.

  • If your brief is straightforward, under £5,000 and you know which skills group you need to contact, you can contact them directly and use the supplier briefing tool to tell them what you need.
  • If your project requires creative thinking (such as developing ideas, campaign concepts and strategy, gathering insight or running workshops) please review the Additional Skills Matrix (PDF) to source a supplier that can service your project.
  • If your budget is £5,001–£25,000 (excluding VAT) this must follow the tender process. Please review How to go out to tender page and follow the guidelines to facilitate this process.
  • If you are not sure which skills group can service your brief, please fill out the supplier briefing tool and review this page again. If you are still unsure please send it to the Creative  team at creative@leeds.ac.uk so we can guide you on which suppliers will be most suitable.
  • Our glossary for writing a brief includes more detailed information about many of the common terms used in Design and Video that we mention on this page.
