Pull up banners

Standard University banners produced through the University of Leeds Print and Mail service come in three sizes:

  • Standard: 800mm x 2300mm
  • Superior: 850mm x 2300mm
  • Double width banner: 1500mm x 2300mm.

If including additional names, they must not exceed 50% of the width of the banner.

Always use the identity banner in order for the logo to be displayed prominently; the rest of the content of your design should appear below. On banners that do not include additional names you can increase the logo size as below.

Due to printing constraints, there should be a clear space area of 300mm at the bottom of all pull up banners.

  • Print dimensions:
    • Standard banners: 800mm x 2300mm
    • Superior banners: 850mm x 2300mm
    • Double-width banners: 1500mm x 230mm
  • Identity banner height: 206mm
  • Logo width (if used alone): 344mm
  • Logo width (if used with additional identifiers): 266mm
  • Margin (top, left and right edge): 52mm
  • Margin (bottom edge): 300mm

Additional identifiers

  • Freight Sans Pro Semibold – 70pt with 84pt leading
  • Freight Sans Pro Medium – 38pt with 46pt leading (all caps)

Drop down banners

When designing drop down banners the logo should sit at the bottom of the banner to ensure maximum visibility. Additional names should be omitted where possible.

Parkinson Court banners:

  • Print dimensions: 1000mm x 4500mm
  • Logo width: 569mm
  • Margin (top, left and right edge): 90mm
  • Margin (bottom edge): 120mm

Union Precinct banners:

  • Print dimensions: 800m x 2000mm
  • Logo width: 410mm
  • Margin (top, left and right edge): 60mm
  • Margin (bottom edge): 200mm

Vinyl outdoor banners

When designing outdoor banners, the logo should sit at the bottom right corner of the banner to ensure maximum visibility. Additional names should be omitted where possible.

5000mm x 1000mm banners:

  • Logo width: 569mm
  • Margin: 120mm

2500mm x 1000mm banners:

  • Logo width: 410mm
  • Margin: 200mm
